We are now watching games in Brookhaven!
Due to some issues with Buffalo Wild Wings this past year we are proud to announce that we are moving to Hudson Grille in Brookhaven to watch our games. Our first game is Saturday August 30 at 12PM versus Western Kentucky. Since it became finalized with such short notice be sure to spread the word to all your IU alumni friends.
Hudson Grill is located at 4046 Peachtree Road. It is in Brookhaven Station across from Mello Mushroom (old Jocks and Jill’s). (www.hudsongrille.com)

Join the Atlanta Chapter of the Indiana University Alumni Association for a summer Braves game and tailgate!
Who: Any current, former, or future IU student, alumni, fan, friends, and family members!
What: Atlanta Braves vs. N.Y. Mets. The IU tailgate before the game will include food, soda, water, and beer. We will also have Braves tomahawks and other free IU and Braves giveaways. Come early and enjoy the food, freebies, and Hoosier camaraderie!
When: Saturday, Sep 20. Tailgate starts at 5 p.m., first pitch at 7:05 p.m.
Where: Turner Field. Tailgate will be in the Green parking lot on the South end closest to the stadium. Look for an IU flag and people wearing IU gear!
Cost: $15 each for game ticket and tailgate OR $5 for tailgate only. (Seats will be reserved in a block and located in the Lower Field Pavilion, section 140.) Bring friends and take advantage of this great value!
Paid members of IUAA receive a $5 discount, which will be returned at the tailgate.
R.S.V.P.: Send R.S.V.P. and money to Ben Blotsky at 24 Sweetberry Court, Alpharetta, GA, 30005. All payments must be received by Sep 10 in order to be processed. Any payments received after this date will be returned.
Checks should be made payable to the Atlanta Chapter of the IU Alumni Association. Call (770) 442-5524 or e-mail bblotsky@gmail.com if you have any questions or if you have trouble finding the tailgate location. Please include your name, if you are a paid member of IUAA, number of tickets needed, number of tailgate passes needed, and an e-mail or phone number. Game tickets will be passed out at the tailgate.

HELP HABITAT FOR HUMANITY!
The Indiana Alumni in Atlanta have an exciting opportunity to help make a difference in the community! We are invited to participate in a Habitat for Humanity house build in Austell, GA. The build, sponsored by GMAC, will start on Thursday, July 24, and run through Sept. 25.
Volunteer slots are available every Thursday and one Saturday in that time frame (TBD). T-shirts and lunch will be provided each day. If you are interested in volunteering or want more information, please e-mail Erin Maude at ekmaude@hotmail.com. Spaces are limited. Ages 18 and above are welcome to participate in all activities. Ages 14 to 17 can volunteer on a limited basis.

CALLING ALL LOVERS OF IU!
We are in need of participants to help at IU College Fairs and student recruitment events throughout the year! This is very important to reach our young Atlanta high school students and share with them the joys of Indiana University. College Fairs are held throughout the year and usually last only a few hours. There are also special events like IU Preview Night and the Student Send Off.
